Free tools for verified students including GitHub Pro, Copilot Student, Codespaces, a JetBrains student licence, Namecheap domain and SSL, and Azure credit for students 18 and over. Benefits are renewed while you remain a student.

Microsoft lists a discounted Microsoft 365 Personal price for verified college and university students in South Africa. Check the page for the current rand price and verification options.
Many South African universities give enrolled students Microsoft 365 through their student account. Included apps and expiry vary by institution, and access may end after graduation.
