What happens if I missed the UCT housing deadline for 2027?
Is there any way to still get UCT housing for 2027 after the deadline? (Common question, answered from official sources.)

UCT treats the application for admission and the application for housing as two separate applications. The 2027 housing deadline was 31 July 2026 and UCT says no late applications will be considered. Contact Student Housing Admissions and Advocacy Services (SHAAS) to ask whether anything is possible. For 2028 entry, applications opened on 1 April this year, so plan to apply well before July.
