Yes. UJ Campus Health gives students free access to treatment of minor ailments, contraceptives, chronic disease monitoring and a vaccination programme for at-risk students. A few tests such as blood glucose and cholesterol carry a small fee (R25 each). Hours are listed as 08:00-16:00 on weekdays on each of the four campuses, with nurses on site and doctors visiting once a week. After hours, emergencies go through ER24.
