Use the iReport GBV tool (ireportgbv.uj.ac.za): it is confidential, contact details are optional, and you get a case reference to track your report. You can also report to the Gender Equity Unit, 24-hour Protection Services or PsyCaD. Support is available even if you do not report, and going to SAPS is your decision.
