TUT's SRC and Student Faculty Councils are elected online; 2025 turnout was 57%, the highest since the university's establishment. The SRC constitution and election details are on the TUT website. For complaints, the Student Ombudsman is at Building 21:428 on the Pretoria Campus (+27 12 382 5525, ombudsman@tut.ac.za) and says you may be accompanied by an SRC member. Student Development and Support has a toll-free line, 0800 233 725.
