You qualify if you fail the main exam but your final mark is at least 45%, or if your final mark is 50% but you missed the sub-minimum. You keep credit for any question papers you passed and write only the ones you failed. You get one supplementary opportunity per module per period, and if you do not write it or you fail it, you must re-register for the module. Modules assessed in a non-examination terminating mode have no supplementary exam.
