Orientation is mandatory. After you register you get a letter from Central Academic Administration with links and instructions for getting started as a first-year.
Online orientation needs a computer, tablet or smartphone with internet access. We did not find 2027 orientation dates or format, so check your letter.
Student card: collect it on campus after you register, with your proof of registration and ID. Collection points differ per campus. A replacement card costs R200 (card payment only, at the cashiers).
International students must also upload compliance documents such as medical aid and a visa or permit on the registration platform.
