Student representation (SRC)

Researched by the VarsityStart team from official university sources. Last checked 10 October 2026. How we check

The UJSRC is a central council plus four campus SRCs (ten members each), elected by students every year before the end of October. The 2026 vote ran online from 9 to 11 September, and new members are inducted from 24 to 26 November. Candidates must be returning students in a state-subsidised programme with no disciplinary record. The SRC is supported by the Student Governance unit in Student Affairs. For election queries, contact the election committee office on your campus or Student Affairs.
