Disability support

Disclose your disability to the relevant departments, and contact the Disability Coordinator on the campus where you will study (ptadisability@tut.ac.za is listed for Pretoria). Indicate the disability on your application so you can be placed in the most suitable residence; residences adapted for disability must be indicated on the application form. Raise problems early, for example difficulty reading exam papers, so accommodations can be arranged.

• TUT's 2027 first-year information says it is under no obligation to accommodate a disability you choose not to declare. Accommodation is assessed against infrastructure, counselling needs, programme capacity and your support system.
• We could not find a published TUT exam concession procedure, forms or deadlines. Ask your campus Disability Coordinator.
