What you pay at registration
Figures are from the 2026 prospectus; we found no 2027 amounts.
- Confirmation payment of R1,500 within three days of your acceptance letter, to reserve your place. Ignoring it cancels the place automatically. It is refundable, less R220, only if you cannot register for a valid reason (for example failing Grade 12).
- A minimum initial payment of R1,500 is payable on registration as the first instalment of tuition (check the current figure in the fee rules). Bank payments take three working days; cashier payments are immediate. If you do not register, R220 of it is forfeited.
- A compulsory advance payment of R1,200 is required before residence registration (none is needed when you submit the residence application form). Residence fees must be settled by 30 October.
- First-time students who applied to NSFAS by the closing date can register without paying upfront fees once NSFAS confirms funding, and may request a refund if they already paid.
- Bursary or sponsor letters: submit the original written letter on the day of registration. Photocopies and faxes are not accepted.
- No payment arrangement is offered for the R1,500.
