A concession comes from the Faculty Examination Committee (FEC) itself, without you applying. Codes such as FECC (continue with conditions), FECF (continue in another programme in the faculty) and FECR (progression not met but allowed to continue) are concessions. A RAC appeal is something you must submit after the FEC has refused you permission to re-register (RENN). The Readmission Appeal Committee then decides, and its concession codes begin with RAC.
