UCT's glossary lists them as RAC concessions. RACC is a concession to continue in the same faculty and programme. RACF is a concession to change programme within the faculty. RACB is a concession to continue after semester 1 probation. Others are RACT (transfer from another faculty), RACL (return after leave of absence), RACO (return after a prescribed break) and RACP (status pending RAC decision). The rules let the RAC limit registration to one semester and set conditions. Source: UCT glossary and General Rules 2026.
