Student representation (SRC)

Researched by the VarsityStart team from official university sources. Last checked 10 October 2026. How we check

The SRC office is in Kopanong 2, Student Centre at the Piazza, Hatfield campus, open 08:30 to 16:30. The SRC sits under Student Governance and Leadership in the Department of Student Affairs (main line 012 420 2336). Societies register annually with the SRC, and the Student Sport Committee is an SRC sub-committee. The SRC contact list (by portfolio) is on the UP site; the latest we found was for 2025.
