Residences
UP has no separate residence form: you request accommodation as part of your study application, and the undergraduate application window for 2027 closed on 30 June 2026. Places are allocated by application date and academic merit. Placement isn't guaranteed, and if residences are full you go on the waiting list. UP's own advice for future years is to apply for residence in March of the year before you start.

If you've been academically excluded
- You're notified by your faculty, usually by email. It can also show on the student portal under communications, or as a "hold".
- Appeal to your faculty: apply online through the readmissions link on the student service portal. Explain your grounds and upload supporting documents. The Faculty Appeals Committee looks at your overall academic record, your letter of motivation and your documents. An incomplete file can stop a decision. The deadline is in the letter from your faculty.
- If the appeal succeeds, you are readmitted to your programme.
- If it fails, you get one last step: ask the Senate Review Committee on Readmission to review it. It checks whether the faculty followed the right procedure, not whether the academic decision was right.
