The N+2 rule says you must be able to finish your programme within its minimum duration (N years) plus two years. Years of study at UP or at another university count towards that limit, even if you changed programmes, so a student who has switched degrees can reach the limit sooner than expected. If you cannot finish within N+2 you are excluded and may appeal. Check your faculty rules for the exact period. Source: UP General Academic Regulations 2026.
