Student representation (SRC)
The Wits SRC is the statutory student body, elected annually, with seats on Council and Senate. Officers cover areas such as bursaries, clubs and societies, gender equity, health, disability, and international and postgraduate students. The SRC office is in the Matrix on East Campus, Braamfontein; phone (011) 717 9206. The Student Governance Office supports it, and officer emails follow the pattern src.[role]@students.wits.ac.za (check the current team page, since the list was from 2025).
