Access to the main library and branch libraries is by swiping a valid SU student card. Food and drink are not allowed (water in spill-proof containers is).
Short loans are for frequently used items: up to 3 items for 3 hours during library hours, with overnight short loans due back 30 minutes after opening.
Opening hours are adjusted for the academic year. Current hours are on the library homepage, or call +27 21 808 4883. We could not confirm a 24-hour study space.
