The Faculty Appeals Committee decides. UJ's process document says it is chaired by the Executive Dean or Vice-Dean (Teaching and Learning), with faculty, PsyCaD and SRC representatives. They look at how many modules you passed, repeated failures, earlier warnings or exclusions, whether you can finish your qualification within the maximum duration, and the reasons and plan in your appeal. Your case is presented anonymously.
