First Year Experience mentoring: each first-year is allocated a discipline-specific mentor, a senior student, for the year.
Writing Centre: free and confidential for any Wits student. Some faculties have their own (for example Education and Science).
Faculty Student Advisors can help with curriculum planning and point you to extra tutoring and skills support. The Science Student Success Team runs consultations and workshops.
Postgraduates get writing help through the Postgraduate Research and Development Office.
