No. Students coded MRNX ("minimum requirements not met, may not appeal") or MEXL are not allowed to appeal, and the Vice-Chancellor, Senior DVC Academic and Registrar cannot overrule the decision under the faculty rules. Speak to your faculty office about what else is possible, such as applying for a different degree after a year. Source: Wits readmissions booklet 2025/2026.
