Put everything you rely on in writing: your reasons, marks for essays, projects and tests, a record of your progress during the year, proof of funding (especially if you have reached N+2), and anything about accommodation, finances, family, emotional or health problems that affected you. For illness, your practitioner must complete the Wits health form; without it no health reason is considered. Keep a copy, because the university will not give you one later.
