WRC-1 includes the Assistant Dean (chair), a member of academic staff, a member of staff concerned with academic development, a Faculty Student Council representative and the Faculty Registrar. WRC-2 has six members: the Dean (chair), an academic from the faculty, an academic from another faculty, a student member, a staff member with counselling skills, and a WRC-1 observer who cannot take part in the decision. The membership is made known to any student on request. Source: Wits readmissions booklet 2025/2026.
